Alexander Graham Bell, best known for "Come here Watson, I need you" invention of the telephone, also was very busy in many other scientific fields including the development of the first plane to fly in Canada from the frozen Bras D'Or lake in Baddeck. The Silver Dart has a Glenn Curtiss V8 with a huge copper radiator and won the prize for the first flight longer than one mile in North America.
