One of my favorite on the road delights are roasted oysters. We usually buy a couple of dozen in the shell, put them on the propane grill in two separate batches, wait for them to open, and prise off the top half of the shell. Separately we prepare a butter, shallot, parsley, prosciutto and vermouth or white wine dressing which we spoon on to the roasting oysters. A couple of minutes later we have a delicious oyster appetizer!
