End of the road going north on California Route 1... earlier this year Route 1 suffered four major bridge and erosion failures between Big Sur and Ragged Point which will take a year or more to fix. Major detour inland on 101 much to Margaret's relief! Lunch at Ragged Point Inn in the garden overlooking the coast from a 400 ft elevation is quite stunning!
