Our daily two mile walk takes us back and forth along the abandoned beach road at the end of the Boca Chica NAS air base. Yesterday was a quiet evening with only a couple of other walkers so the pelicans were braver than usual and this magnificent representative of the species sat on the wall as we walked five feet away!
